  • Integrated Internet Connectivity & Data Communication

The inverter has a fully integrated data logging system equipped with WLAN, Ethernet, energy management and a web server. Without extra cabling, it connects to the internet for an overview of the PV system’s functions.

Choose exactly how to design your PV system. The inverter’s unique SuperFlex Design has two MPP trackers combined with a high system voltage and wide DC input voltage range. This means the unit can adapt to various roof orientations and sun conditions — well-suited to any PV system configuration.

  • SnapINverter Standardised Mounting System

The mounting system boasts separate compartments for the power stage set and the connection area. Along with the cutting-edge hinged design, these features allow for easy installation and maintenance. Simply mount the inverter on a wall bracket and you won’t have to remove the entire unit for servicing.

  • Dynamic Peak Manager: Innovative MPP Tracking

Dynamic Peak Manager automatically checks the entire characteristic curve on a regular basis and finds the global Maximum Power Point (GMPP), even in partial shade. The innovative MPP tracking algorithm adapts its behaviour when finding the optimal operating point for your inverter.

  • Zero Feed-In Options

Receive optimum feed-in management, including zero feed-in to the grid. The inverter supplies consumers with power first and then reduces the system Output to the maximum energy feed-in permitted by the grid operator. Simply enable the relevant settings using the inverter’s web interface.

  • Advanced Smart Grid Features

Fronius inverters are made to handle Smart Grid technology of the future. Advanced Grid Features are installed in the device which enables it to effectively control the feed-in system and prevent unwanted power interruptions. Simply connect the meter and set the feed-in limit.

  • Active Cooling Technology

Powerful fans regulate air circulation inside the inverter, cooling the temperature of power electronics before they can overheat. This maintains the service life of the device, reducing maintenance costs.

All Fronius inverters meet international safety standards, including automatic shut-down in the event of grid failure. The Primo comes with a built-in surge protection device and has an IP65 rating, meaning it’s protected from dust build-up.
