CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR)

Probe Corporation has an active Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. We view our role in society as being able to pursue business objectives and also to make a valuable contribution towards the upliftment of historically disadvantaged individuals and society at large.

The objective of our CSR policy is to develop skills, create employment and increase economic growth, while progressing the aims of broad-based black economic empowerment (BEE). We are focused on making a difference to the lives of aspiring entrepreneurs, disabled individuals and unemployed youth.

Providing financial assistance for education for disabled individuals has become an integral part our Transformation Strategy. This furthers our skills development initiatives and also provides learning opportunities for individuals, whose educational needs may not have been provided for by their own support structure.

Our CSR programme also includes providing operational support and financial assistance to business start-ups and micro-entities in rural communities.

Integrating sustainable business development plans and social transformation has given rise to employment opportunities at Probe Corporation, which can only improve efficiencies and also provide opportunities in the mainstream economy for unemployed youth.

One of the initiatives we support is edeaf – an initiative to empower deaf communities for business.Â
