Lithium Batteries

As the need for reliable energy storage grows, lithium batteries have quickly ranked as one of the best choices. Our premium selection of lithium-ion batteries ensures reliable energy storage for both residential and commercial applications.

Benefits of Lithium Batteries

Incorporating lithium-ion batteries into your electrical system empowers you with electricity during power outages. The batteries have several benefits over other energy storage systems. Some of these advantages include:

  • 25-50% more usable capacity
  • Constant voltage during discharge
  • No gas emissions
  • A much longer life cycle
  • Effective charging, charging fully in 1 to 3 hours

Our electricity storage solutions empower you to be independent of traditional energy systems and their shortcomings, and our lithium batteries are a great option if you’re looking for more reliable energy access!

Lithium Batteries vs Lead Acid

Lithium batteries are often preferred over lead-acid batteries and there are a few reasons for this.

First, they provide 100% of their rated power capacity, throughout discharge. In other words, their voltage does not decrease as the battery charge does, which is the case for lead-acid batteries. Lead-acid batteries tend to provide less usable energy with higher rates of discharge. They are usually limited to 50% of the rated capacity to prevent diminished life.

Lithium-ion batteries have a much longer life cycle and shelf life than lead-acid batteries.

They also weigh 50-60% less than lead-acid batteries.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most lithium-ion batteries last between two and three years, or 300 to 500 charge cycles, depending on which comes first. One charge cycle is completed when the battery runs from fully charged, to completely discharged, and then recharged again. Lithium batteries can tolerate this kind of usage 300 to 500 times, considerably more than their lead-acid counterparts!
