This year’s automechanika, hosted in September, proved to be the best show yet in what was the fifth staging of the biennial event in South Africa. With almost 13,000 visitors and 620 exhibitors representing 26 countries, it served as an ideal platform to gain insight into the latest product offerings from the local and global automotive after market, as well as connect with like-minded people and automotive specialists.
This year, Probe hosted two exhibition stands. The first featured our world-class auto electrical products that include premium battery and alternator brands such as Delco Remy, Bosch, Prestolite/Leece Neville, C.E. Niehoff and Horton. Also available at the stand was our ever-popular Probe ‘fit and forget’ batteries, which promise superb performance due to being truly sealed and maintenance free.
Our other exhibition stand featured the exciting addition to our product range in the form of premium, high quality air compressors which include products that serve the full spectrum of requirements, from home use to heavy duty industrial machines. We took the opportunity to launch this much-needed product line for local markets, showcasing the premium, global-best Stanley range of air compressors and tools.
And if this didn’t get visitors’ engines revving, they were invited to try out the Team Probe race-car simulators and put Probe’s automotive know-how to the test! Team Probe, when not hosting visitors at the Probe stands or racing around the ‘track’, could be found networking at the popular Pit Stop bar chatting to visitors about automotive parts, rotating electrics and air compressors.
