PROBE TO RELAUNCH PROBENERGY AT THE AFRICA ENERGY INDABA

When it comes to batteries, auto-electrical and industrial power applications, Probe is the business to call. The leading distributor will be relaunching PROBENERGY at the Africa Energy Indaba in March this year. According to Probe CEO Rick Rovelli, this focused new division offers a dynamic selection of energy-relevant products from top global brands as well as Probe’s own products.

“Probe is always evolving in our quest to bring our customers innovative technology and advanced solutions.  With over 55 years of experience of distributing and supporting international products and solutions for South African market needs, we know the market and work hard to provide the right solutions in our fields of expertise,” says Rovelli. “With an unstable electricity grid and soaring power costs impacting both, we recognised the growing market need for a high quality yet affordable energy solutions for solar applications, particularly the battery of the future – lithium iron phosphate.”

The new star of the PROBENERGY stable is the impressive Max Li Deep Cycle lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFeP04) range, a new addition to Probe’s trusted automotive, multipurpose and deep cycle battery technologies. It offers the advantages of  an optimal discharge and charge efficiency, a long life span and the ability to deep cycle while maintaining power, all in a compact, stackable package. It is currently stocked in 48v – 50, 70, 100 and 200ah; and 24v – 100ah making these ideal from small home usage through to offices and small businesses.  It is also possible to manufacture any configuration for specific needs.

Also on show will be power solutions for a wide range of applications, including solar and back-up, UPS, industrial, marine, telecommunications, heavy and light duty automotive and electrical vehicle charging. Inverters, solar kits, and next generation battery chargers and boosters round out the comprehensive Probe exhibition line-up.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming current and new customers at the show and taking the opportunity to show them Probe’s offering in the rapidly evolving energy environment. Our products support and form an integral part of many other energy solutions and we look forward to networking with delegates and other exhibitors as we work to provide the best solutions to power efficient business in Africa.”
